The enhanced cargo sensor changes the carrier\u2019s view of available cargo space with 99% accurate load status plus the trailer\u2019s used cubic volume and floor space percentages. Images from inside the trailer are also available for download, with the proven ability to retrieve images at scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt used to be enough to just report accurate trailer load status, but today, with higher freight volumes and the lack of trailers, all carriers are looking for more trailer capacity&#8221;, said Roni Taylor, Senior Vice President of Strategy, Spireon. \u201cSpireon is giving carriers the ability to be more efficient and haul more freight with the trailers they have today.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using IntelliScan ProView:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Truckload carriers can see open space in their trailers for additional back haul opportunities and more revenue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LTL carriers can better plan their trailer load cube and move more freight per trailer while educating the dock team to learn best practices for loading<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Private fleets can manage inventory in storage trailers and identify backfill opportunities for incremental revenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each ProView cargo sensor is equipped with state-of-the-art optical recognition and proprietary machine-learning technology producing the highest accuracy in the industry. It takes periodic measurements of the surrounding trailer space and sends \u201cpercent full\u201d and \u201cpercent of used floor space\u201d readings back to the fleet manager\u2019s FleetLocate interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIntelliScan ProView helps us cut costs and that\u2019s the name of the game,\u201d said Brian Morris, Operations Asset Manager, Magnum Less-Than-Truckload. \u201cNow we know if the trailers are fully loaded or if there is an opportunity to add more freight so we can eliminate unnecessary trips. We also see how the freight is being loaded and make sure we\u2019re using the proper tools to secure it and eliminate damage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ProView cargo sensor is mounted at the rear of the trailer and provides a complete view into the trailer during the loading process. When combined with cargo load status detection and downloadable images, ProView provides a comprehensive picture of every trailer\u2019s capacity.
