These rules include procedures for testing, frequency of tests, and substances tested for. Testing results are reported and stored in the <a href=\"https:\/\/clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov\/About\">FMCSA Drug &amp; Alcohol Clearinghouse<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FMCSA Drug &amp; Alcohol Clearinghouse is a secure online database that gives employers, FMCSA, State Driver Licensing Agencies (SDLAs), and State law enforcement personnel real-time information about CDLs and commercial learner\u2019s permit (CLP) holders\u2019 drug and alcohol program violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FMCSA Clearinghouse contains records of violations of drug and alcohol prohibitions in 49 CFR Part 382, Subpart B, including positive drug or alcohol test results and test refusals. When a driver completes the return-to-duty (RTD) process and follow-up testing plan, this information is also recorded in the Clearinghouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the responsibility of employers to query the FMCSA Drug &amp; Alcohol Clearinghouse database. To help make this process easier, we\u2019ve launched a new solution to help automate the query process. <a href=\"https:\/\/esupervision.com\/clearinghouse-monitoring\">Supervision\u2019s Clearinghouse Monitoring<\/a> service is integrated with our <a href=\"https:\/\/esupervision.com\/driver-license-monitoring\">Continuous License Monitoring<\/a> program and works with your existing active driver roster. Clearinghouse Monitoring automatically queries the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse database and reports any drivers with activity.
